ZDNet has posted a news article today 'Microsoft turns to Elixir for Office boost' discussing the plans Microsoft has with Elixir. In short Project Elixir, will take shape later this year as a way to promote Microsoft's Outlook e-mail and contact program, with some additional fields, as a tool for viewing customer relationship data. I have received a number of emails as response to my previous postings on Elixir of people ('insiders' as they call them) telling me that it is not that big a deal. But let's wait and see what comes out of it...
