# Microsoft Office Small Business Accounting 2006 Performance Issues

Hi:

We are trying out Microsoft's Small Business Accounting 2006 and have it installed on our test server (windows server 2003).

We are experiencing incredibly slow response time from the application. The software seem to be consuming a tremendous amount of memory and it takes literally 7 - 10 seconds for us to "Save and New" Invoices (as an example).

I don't know if the bottleneck is at the MSDE level or simply something not right when the application is installed in a Windows 2003 environment.

Is anyone having similar performance and 'memory leak' type issues?? (Footnote: We did install the SP1 for SBA2006 as well.)
