This week VSLive 2005 is taking place in Orlando and of course there is a lot of focus on the forthcoming VS.NET 2005. You can follow the conference day by day on their site if you are interested.

One of the sessions yesterday (two days ago for the European readers) was a session on advanced VSTO programming and deployment. VSTO 2005 is a very cool product and any .NET developer interested in doing some stuff on top of Office definitly has to take a look at that. The session was recorded and is available as a one hour video over here.

And don't forget that the VSTO 2005 team has a blog with very useful information on it. This week, they have started with a new set of deployment "quick start" topics that they are adding to the Visual Studio 2005 Tools for Office documentation in the coming months.

This first Quick Start demonstrates how to deploy a Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 Tools for the Microsoft Office System solution for Microsoft Office Word 2003 or Microsoft Office Excel 2003 so that the document and the assembly are located in the same folder on the end user computer. This Quick Start is intended for users who have little or no experience with deploying Visual Studio 2005 Tools for Office solutions
