This month, we are going to have the BIWUG (Belgian and Benelux Information Worker User Group) meeting one week earlier than normal. So, you are all invited on Thursday  Wednesday, 9th of November in the offices of Compuware for our monthly meeting. There are two reasons for the rescheduling. First of all, Microsoft Belux has BJ Holtgrewe as a guest those days and he agreed to address the BIWUG members with a presentation. BJ is Senior Product Manager for the Visual Studio Tools for Office and he will talk about the exciting things you can do with VSTO 2005. This is great because it is a good kick-off for the launch event that Microsoft Belux is organizing the day after. Second reason is that this will then also be the opportunity for myself to finally meet the BIWUG members. As a president of the user group, I have not been able to attend any of the meetings due to my travel plan. And unfortunately, I guess that will not change. I will travel weekly until March next year. The only week I am in Belgium this year is actually the week of the 9th. So, I will do my first speech and welcome you and together with Jan Tielens, I will give you some info on the new version of the SmartPart (also referred to as the 'son of the smartpart') and WSS SP2.
