Last month in Redmond I attended a session on XPS (the XML Paper Specification) and got a demonstration showing how one can create a document in Word '12' and save it either as a PDF or as an XPS document. XPS will be seen by many people as Microsoft's answer to the PDF format but since it is primarily based on XML technologies it will offer many more scenarios. Learn more on XPS on Jeff Bell's blog.
