I found some time to finally post this. This week I am in Kenya for 5 days and the travel has been a bit exhausting to my body lately so I had to catch up with some sleep. The Office 12 prep also keeps me awake a lot these days :)

But last week was again very good. It was my 5th time I had the opportunity to visit Lisbon, Portugal. U2U has a strong relation with Portugal as all of my buddies (Jan, Peter, Jurgen and Nico) have spent this year also many times in Lisbon and Porto doing all kinds of workshops.

Highlight of last week was definitely the CMS day much appreciated by the crowd. Portugal has a strong reputation in CMS being a leader in Europe when it comes to major CMS deployments. Luis Vale Goncalves, one of the local people there and a big fan of OneNote, certainly influenced that the last years. Together we did the CMS day. Being more a SharePoint guy than a CMS guy I learned also a lot from him. For example, this is a good place for CMS, and one of things he showed was a small tool for creating and maintaining the task list that can be used by users when they work with the Authoring Connector in their Word environment. Luis also gave the sound advice to test carefully before you deploy SP2 of CMS on production servers. For any background on this, take a look at some of the issues reported by Stephan.
