This week Ted Pattison and I finished our series of dry-runs for the Office '12' ascend trainings which we will start delivering in the months of January 'till March in the whole world. Last week we had the ISV Developer Evangelists in EMEA as our audience in Amsterdam, this week we had various product managers here in Redmond as our critical audience. Both groups provided us with excellent feedback on the material and especially the messages we need to communicate.
The ascend training is a 4-day workshop (on invitation only) targeted towards ISV developers touching all aspects of Office'12' solution development. So we have client-side development with Office '12', WSS 'v3' with Web parts and the other exciting extensibility points, and then moving over to the Office '12' server added-values such as InfoPath, Workflow, Excel Services and more. Four days fully packed with exciting material if you ask me.
Ted wil be doing the following cities: Toronto (Canada), Las Colinas (TX), Charlotte (NC), Redmond (WA), San Paulo (Brazil) and Sidney (Australia).
I will be hitting the following cities in the next three months: Chertsey (UK), Paris (France), Munich (Germany), Vedbaek (Denmark), Milan (Italy), Beijing (China), Bangalore (India) and Warsaw (Poland).
It all starts 9th of January and we still have plenty of prep work to do, but dudes, this is so much fun to do that we actually not care spending our Xmas vacations on it :)
Hope to see you on one of the trips.
