I want one too. But I want one at the $599 (or even 599 Euros) price point that Microsoft was talking about not at the $1199 price point the Samsung is coming out for.

The basic package is good enough for what I have in mind for it (watching web casts; controlling my hard-disk based music files; *casual* browsing) as all the important stuff I'm going to do on my portable anyway.

Seems to me that Samsung thinks this is a smaller form factor tablet PC whereas I see it as a larger form factor Pocket PC. Hence their (and my!) price.
