Tonight I am doing my second webcast part of the ISV Ascend program. In total there are about 10 webcasts in the program. All of them are and will be recorded and made available via www.betaoneservices.com (in the Office '12' University section) for everybody involved in the beta program. Last week the topic was 'Building Solutions with InfoPath 2007', today I will talk and demonstrate the various Web Content Management capabilities delivered with Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007.
This was a topic that did not get that much of an attention during the training (basically because we had so many other things to cover). But it is extremely important to learn about WCM features in MOSS 2007 and this is why we are catching up here with the webcast. I am not really going to talk about CMS 2002 and the possible migration scenarios, it will be more a walkthrough of all the features available when creating an Internet presence Web site with MOSS 2007: anonymous access and configuring forms authentication, site hierarchies and navigation controls, page layouts, field controls and pages, site variations, the publishing cycle, and the various WCM-related Web parts.
If you are looking for a public webcast on WCM in MOSS 2007, Andrew Connel did a great job last week talking about the evolution of WCM in MOSS 2007.
