I refer to my previous post for an explanation about the underlying reasons for using the ASP.NET 2.0 Control Adapter Framework in SharePoint next version. Frank (from Tam Tam) started a new blog and the first article is a general walk-through on how to configure a site with the control adapters. The result is that the navigation controls' rendering behaviour is changed from TABLE elements to DIVs and nested ULs. Great work Frank!
